West Michigan Woman Magazine Joins Local First

Local First is the premier organization advocating for local business ownership in the Midwest. The organization lends support, resources, and overall awareness to locally owned businesses—such as ourselves.

Local First introduces us to other like-minded businesses and provides educational opportunities to help cultivate overall growth. In addition, they host a variety of events throughout the year that allows us to get to know other locally owned businesses in our community and to figure out ways we can help each other grow, develop and continue to be successful.

Wine and Wig 2013

West Michigan Woman is proud to bring you Wine & Wig! Established this year, the annual event will show financial support for a West Michigan philanthropic organization whose mission is dedicated to improving the lives of local women and our community, all while having fun! In 2013, Susan G. Komen West Michigan was selected to receive the proceeds from this event. We are excited to partner with them and their local mission to fight breast cancer!

So, what is Wine & Wig? Women, get dolled up in your favorite dress, red carpet makeup, heels, sparkly jewels, and throw on a wig to suit your mood! Men, dress in your evening best, shine your shoes, add a spray of your favorite cologne, but don't leave the house without a wig on top!

Your ticket will get you into the first annual Wine & Wig gala at the GRAM where you will enjoy delicious food pairings with scrumptious wine and beer. There will also be a silent auction so you can bid on unique items and experiences. You won't want to miss this milestone event in Grand Rapids!

Tickets go on sale August 5, 2013 for $100 per ticket. Tickets include food pairings along with beer and wine. Click here or visit our Facebook page for more information.

Interested in partnering with us? Download sponsorship information or e-mail Kasie. Four levels of sponsorships are available to best fit your organization. It's a great cause and the first event of its kind in Grand Rapids!
